Design Rule #2: The "Squint Test" (Fixing AI Noise)
AI concepts are famous for "High Frequency Noise." They are packed with thousands of tiny details, buckles, and folds, but th... ...ey often lack a clear primary shape. If you try to model every single buckle, your character will look like a noisy mess.
The Fix: You need to filter the noise. Open the concept in Photoshop and apply a Blur Filter (or just squint your eyes). What shapes remain?
Is it a triangle?
Is it a heavy block?
Is it a flowing curve?
Model ONLY those big shapes first. Ignore the tiny details until the final pass. If the character doesn't read clearly as a silhouette in ZBrush (using the Flat Color material), no amount of "AI Detail" will save it.
Big Shapes = Character. Small Details = Noise.
