Remember in my last series, we talked about translating "make it pop"?
That's a high-level skill of t... ...urning a vague feeling into concrete actions. Guess what "prompt engineering" is? The exact same thing.
"A dark, moody, cinematic shot" is a terrible prompt. "A low-angle 85mm shot, key light from the left, atmospheric fog, with a "Blade Runner" color palette" is a great prompt.
Artists who have spent years turning client-speak into renders are already expert "prompters." We just called it "being an artist".
